The HND Electrical / Electronic Engineering programme is a three-year full-time programme of study. The teaching delivery is based on both theoretical education and practical training which is industry driven. The practical training involves competence training in the use of basic electrical engineering tools and equipment for installation of electrical wiring, circuit design, troubleshooting, maintenance, and testing. Additionally, students are trained to use basic electrical / electronic engineering software for circuit design, analysis and simulation. Student are exposed to a world of work (industrial setting) via a well-structured industrial attachment and internships to apply acquired knowledge and skills to solve real industrial problems. And this motivate and builds the students’ confidence as in-coming Electrical / Electronic Engineers. The Electrical / Electronics Engineering program will train students in the following five elective areas:

  1. Power Systems
  2. Telecommunication Engineering
  3. Control and Instrumentation Engineering
  4. Computer Engineering
  5. Medical Equipment Technology
