KTU Radio, operating on the frequency modulation 87.7, is owned by Koforidua Technical University, Eastern Region. Generally, KTU Radio reaches a broad range of audience in Koforidua and its surrounding areas.
The FM station remains the premium source of news, information and educative programmes for students and faculty members of the University.
As a community radio station, KTU Radio is strongly committed to promoting local content, providing support to emerging talents, as well as providing a platform for community engagement. The shows on the radio station include news, sports, more music, and other interesting educational programmes.
KTU Radio has trained many student journalists and media practitioners through its volunteer scheme. KTU Radio 87.7 is amongst the Top 3 radio stations in Koforidua, and we reach over a million audience through our online platforms.
