Overview

The Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Renewable Energy Systems Engineering is a comprehensive programme that trains students to plan, assess, design and research. This programme offers development inputs in building efficient, cost-effective renewable energy systems to meet residential, commercial, industrial and national energy needs. The main objective of this programme is to train specialist engineers to meet the challenges of the energy sector with cross-cutting knowledge and skills in designing, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and economic analysis of renewable energy systems. Graduates of this programme gain relevant industrial skills and work ethics through internship and industrial attachment. Also, graduates of Higher National Diploma (HND) in Renewable Energy Systems Engineering programme and other engineering fields can enrol in level 300 of the BTech. Renewable Energy Systems Engineering Programme to deepen their knowledge and skills.
