Dr. Seth Okyere – Dankwa is a Computer Network Engineer with more than ten (10) years of industrial working experience and then ten (10) years of teaching experience at the University. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Information Technology from the Open University of Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He also holds Masters degree (Msc) in Network Systems from the University of Sunderland in the United Kingdom, a Diploma in Computers and Information Systems from Development Training International in Mbabane – Swaziland, Diploma in Data Processing from the University of Science and Technology in Kumasi – Ghana, Certificate in Strategic Management in Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration in Accra – Ghana. Dr. Okyere-Dankwa has also pursued numerous professional certificate courses both within and outside Ghana. Notable among them are Cyber Intelligence and Forensics, Microsoft Windows 2000 Server, Administering Windows NT 4.0, Implementing and Managing Microsoft Exchange 2000, Certification in the Labour Act. 2003 (Act 651) and others. As an academia, Dr. Okyere–Dankwa has published twelve (12) papers in recognized Peer-Reviewed Journals and attended numerous conferences within and outside Ghana.
Dr. Okyere-Dankwa is currently a Senior Lecturer, Dean of Faculty of Applied Science and Technology, and a Lecturer at the Computer Science Department in Koforidua Technical University, Ghana. Dr. Okyere-Dankwa has also taught as an adjunct/part-time Lecturer at All Nation University, Koforidua, Accra Institute of Technology, Accra, University of Winneba Education Distance Programme, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science Technology Distance Programme and University of Ghana (Legon) Distance Programme. Dr. Okyere – Dankwa attended Prempeh College in Kumasi, Ghana.
Dr. Okyere -Dankwa has also supervised numerous students’ project work at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Dr. Okyere – Dankwa’s industrial experience spanned from working as PHC coordinator at Suhum, through National Service Scheme Co-ordinator at Ajumako and Winneba to IT Manager with DANIDA sponsored Community Water and Sanitation Agency.
Dr. Okyere – Dankwa is also an entrepreneur. He is at the moment Chief Executive Officer of Success Trust Micro-credit Service and Reseth Consult Limited.
On community service front, Dr Okyere – Dankwa was TUC chairman for New Juaben Municipality and later became Eastern Regional TUC chairman. Currently, he is a member of KNUST alumni, Prempeh College Old boys Association (Amanfo) and Chairman of the landlords Association at Adweso in Koforidua.
Dr. Okyere – Dankwa is a staunch Christian, fellowships with Adweso Calvary Methodist Church in Koforidua. He is the Welfare Chairman and a member of the Men’s Fellowship.
Dr. Okyere – Dankwa is married with three children and his hobby is community service.
