McLutterodt is an E-Learning Content Developer, Hardware Technician, and Systems Administrator. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
Currently, he is a staff of the Section – Management Information System at Koforidua Technical University
As part of the process of improving our output as a Directorate, there is the need to restructure our individual duties and responsibilities.
In view of that, you have been assigned to work under the direct supervision of the Head of ICT as System Administrator.
Find below your core duties and responsibilities;
- Virtual Learning Environment (VLE)
- Proactively prepare VLE courses in anticipation of upcoming
- programs, providing convenient access to lecturers and external partners
- as needed.
- Prepare LMS training courses for students and faculty, and ensure
- compliance with VLE online course standards.
- Offer first-line support, and reach out to colleagues to resolve any VLE
- technical issues. Become a first point of contact for learners and
- colleagues with E-learning issues.
- Review course administrative areas for suitability, including maintaining
- a consistent look and feel across our courses.
- To monitor users and identify potential enhancements to both the
- content and learning outcomes of VLE modules to improve effectiveness and user satisfaction.
- Online Student Information System (connect.ktu.edu.gh), Student Information Portal (connect.ktu.edu.gh), and TOPAZ
- Assist users in the administration and supervision of Connect System,
- SIP and Topaz
- Conduct daily technical administrative work to ensure the availability,
- stability and security of all services (TOPAZ, Connect, & SIP).
- Monitor systems and services, responding to alerts and performing root
- cause analysis.
- Maintain security and provide performance monitoring and capacity
- Manage Active Directory environment, including users (Topaz) and
- computer additions, changes, and removals, as well as group policy
- objects
3. Creating and managing official Staff email addresses.
4. Performing any other duties that may be assigned by the Head of ICT.
