Joseph Osei (Ph.D) is a Senior Lecturer in the Fashion Design and Textiles Department who holds a Ph.D in Art Education (Textiles), M.A. in Art Education (Textiles), B.A. Industrial Art (Textiles option) all from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana. He also holds a Higher National Diploma in Fashion Design and Textiles from Kumasi Technical University and a 3-year Post-secondary Certificate in Education from Bechem College of Education. He has published twelve (12) articles in peer-reviewed journals and one research report in the KNUST research report 2016. He has provided many services to his university as either a chairman or a member of a committee. He has reviewed papers for international journals and assessment of promotion papers for a Technical University in Ghana. His research interest is in Textiles, Fashion Design and Art Education.

He is currently the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Science and Technology, Koforidua Technical University.
