Dr. Lomatey Toku (MCIPS) has been with this University since January, 2008 and is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Procurement and Supply Science in the Faculty of Business and Management Studies (FBMS).
Toku holds a PhD degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi- Ghana, MSc in Procurement from Glamorgan University, UK and a Charter Certificate from the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply, UK.
Toku exhibits expertise and expresses research interests in these areas: Procurement, Strategic Supply Chain Management, Buyer-Supplier Relationships and Smart Supply Chains. Toku, as an academic and scholar, has over a decade of teaching experience in an institution of higher learning and a rich research background. He has published over 10 articles in reputable peer-reviewed international journals. In 2012, he received the best teacher award in the then Koforidua Polytechnic.
Toku has served as the Head of Department (HOD) for the Procurement and Supply Science, a key academic position which has allowed him gain extensive experience in university administration. Again, Toku has chaired and served on several committees in and outside the university environment.
Currently, he is an external assessor for Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC).
