Mr. Adika Hubert is a Senior Laboratory Technician in the Department of Environmental Management and Technology at Koforidua Technical University (KTU). He is an environmental management professional with expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), remote sensing, spatial data analysis, environmental research, and geospatial technologies.

He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental and Natural Resources Management from Presbyterian University, Ghana, and is currently pursuing a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

In his current role, Mr. Adika coordinates laboratory practical sessions, provides technical assistance to academic staff and students, and supports the effective management and maintenance of laboratory facilities and resources. He also assists students with research projects, practical demonstrations, and laboratory activities while promoting compliance with established laboratory health and safety standards.

Beyond his responsibilities at KTU, Mr. Adika has gained valuable professional experience through engagements with several public and private organisations, including the Green Economy Ghana Project, Zoomlion Ghana Limited, and the Threatened Species Conservation Alliance (ThreSCoAL). His work with these organisations has involved environmental research, waste management, conservation fieldwork, community engagement, technical facilitation, and environmental data collection.

Mr. Adika possesses practical knowledge of geospatial analysis and environmental data management, with proficiency in industry-standard applications such as ArcGIS, QGIS, GeoDa, Python, R, SQL, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office. His technical competencies support environmental monitoring, spatial analysis, research activities, and evidence-based environmental decision-making.

He has further strengthened his professional expertise through specialised training and certifications in GIS applications for conservation management, coastal interactions, and intellectual property. He is committed to continuous professional development, research innovation, environmental sustainability, and the application of geospatial technologies to address environmental challenges.
