HND Renewable Energy Systems Eng.

Higher National Diploma 3 years Full time

Overview

The Higher National Diploma (HND) in Renewable Energy Systems Engineering programme aims to train students who can visit residential, commercial and industrial premises to assess their energy needs and propose renewable energy and money-saving alternatives. The programme strongly emphasises both theoretical and practical skills with a deep focus on student industrial attachment and internship, so that graduates can be contracted to install, operate, troubleshoot and maintain renewable energy technologies such as solar, wind and biogas units. Also, undertake a detailed energy audit of residential, commercial and industrial facilities and suggest appropriate modification options.
