Mr. Obed Doku

Obed Doku is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Koforidua Technical University, where he teaches Control Systems and Robotics, and a PhD candidate at the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT), Tarkwa. He studied Electrical Engineering, and Automatic Control at USTHB in Algiers. As autonomous systems spread from laboratories onto roads, factory floors, and into homes, a control failure increasingly puts people at risk. The question behind his work is how to guarantee that such a system stays safe when the model used to control it is never quite right. He also has interest in multi-agent systems, where many interacting agents compete or cooperate and a small, well-placed intervention can change the behaviour of the whole network.
